17. He sends down water [46] from the sky, and the channels flow [47] according to their capacity. Then the foam rises from the water, and from what they heat in the fire to make ornaments or utensils [48], arises foam similar to it. Thus, Allah illustrates [49] truth and falsehood. The foam is blown away [50], but what benefits mankind remains on earth [51]. Thus, Allah sets forth the examples [52].

65. And Allah sent down water from the sky [135], giving life to the earth after its death. Indeed, in that is a sign for those who listen [136].

Then He causes to grow therewith crops of diverse colours (58), Thereafter it dries up and you see that it turns yellow. Then He breaks it into small grains(59)". He brought forth everything of growth [215], and out of it, We brought forth the green (foliage) from which We bring forth clustered grains, and from the sheaths of the palms, the bunches closer to one another [216], and gardens of grapes and olives and pomegranates [217], similar in some respects and different in others [218]. Look at it when it bears fruit and its ripening. Indeed, there are signs in it for the people who believe [219].
