255. Allah! There is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all existence. Slumber [652] does not overtake Him, nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? [653] He knows what is before them and what will be after them [654], and they do not encompass anything of His knowledge [655] except for what He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth [656], and preserving them does not burden Him. And He is the Highest, the Most Great.

22. If there had been gods besides Allah in the heavens and earth, then necessarily, they would have gone ruined [32]. Therefore Glory is to Allah, the Lord of the Throne, from the utterances which they fabricate.

Each one runs its course for a specified term. [7] He plans every affair and explains the signs in detail so that you may believe in the meeting with your Lord. [8]

And He has made the sun, the moon, and the stars subservient by His command. Indeed, His is the creation and the command [134]. Blessed is Allah, the Lord of the worlds [135].

And Allah sees all that you do [13].
