46. Among the Yahud are those who distort words from their (proper) places [169] and say, "We have heard and we disobey," and "You listen to us," but do not make us to listen. They twist their tongues [170] and taunt in faith [171]. And if they had said instead, "We hear and obey," and "Hear our talks and look at us" [172], it would have been better for them and more upright [173]. But Allah has accursed them, so they believe not, except for a little [174].

160. Then on account of the great injustice of the Yahud, We made unlawful for them some of those pure things that were lawful [458], and because of their hindering many from the way of Allah [459].

135. And they (the people of the Book) say, "Be Yahud or Nasara, and you will be guided." Say (O Muhammad): "Rather, we follow the religion of Ibrahim, inclining toward truth [269], and he was not among the polytheists [270]."

140. Or do you claim that Ebrahim, Ismail, Ishaaq, Yaqub, and the descendants were Yahud or Nasara? Say (O Muhammad): "Are you more knowledgeable, or is Allah? And who is more unjust than the one who conceals a testimony he has from Allah? Indeed, Allah is not unaware of what you do."

118. And for those who are Jews, We forbade that which We have already related to you [262] before, and We did not wrong them but they wronged their own selves [263].

146. And for the Jews, We forbade every animal with undivided hoofs [334], and the fat of oxen and sheep, except what is carried on their backs or intestines, or what is mixed with bones [335]. This was their recompense for their rebellion [336]. And indeed, We are truthful.

And you will surely find the Jews and polytheists [232] to be the most intense in enmity toward those who believe, and you will surely find the nearest of them in affection to the believers those who say, "We are Christians" [233]. That is because among them are priests and monks, and they are not arrogant [234].

69. Surely, those who believe [208], and similarly the Yahud, the Sabians (star worshippers), and the Nasarawhoever among them believes in Allah and the Last Day [209], with a true heart and acts righteously, shall neither have any fear nor shall they grieve [210].

64. And the Yahud have said, "The Hand of Allah is tied up" [189]. Their own hands are tied up [190], and upon them is the curse of Allah for what they say. Rather, His Hands are wide open; He spends as He wills [191]. And what has been revealed to you from your Lord will only increase many of them in wickedness and disbelief [192]. And We have cast enmity and hatred among them until the Day of Resurrection [193]. Whenever they kindle the fire of war, Allah extinguishes it [194]. They strive to spread corruption in the land, and Allah does not love the corruptors.
