1. They ask you regarding the spoils [1] of war. Say, "The spoils are for Allah and the Messenger [2]. So fear Allah [3], and set things right among yourselves, and obey Allah and His Messenger, if you are believers [4]."

41. And know that whatever spoils of war you take [82], then surely one-fifth of it is for Allah [83] and for the Messenger, and for his close relatives [84], and the orphans, and the needy [85], and the traveler [86], if you believe in Allah [87] and what We sent down upon Our servant on the Day of Decision [88], the day when the two groups met. And Allah has power over all things [89].

15. Then those who lagged behind said: "When you go to take the spoils [37] (of war) we will also follow you." They desire to change (38) the words of Allah. Please declare: "You shall by no means follow (39) us." Thus, Allah said before. Then they said: "No, but you envy (40) us." Not so. Rather, they do not understand except a little (41).

19. And abundant[56] booties they took. And Allah is Dignified, Wise.

20. And Allah promised you abundant [57] Booties that you captured. He gave you the same immediately [58] and restrained (59) the hands of men from you, that it may be a definite proof (60) to the believers, and that He may guide you on a straight (61) path.

21. And the other (benefits of victory), which you had not obtained (62), is with Allah. And Allah has full power over everything.

11. And if anyone from your wives goes away from the custody of believers to the infidels [43], then you punish the infidels. And give from the spoils of war [44] to those whose women have gone away, the like of that which they have spent (on such wives), and fear Allah in Whom you believe.
