128. Has it then not given guidance to them that how many a generation, We have destroyed before them that in whose dwellings they walk? [181]. Indeed therein are signs for men of wisdom [182].

36. And We certainly sent a messenger to every nation, saying, "Worship Allah [77] and avoid false gods." Some of them Allah guided, and others had the decree of misguidance fulfilled upon them [78]. So travel through the earth and see [79] how was the end of those who denied [80].

11. Please declare (O Beloved Prophet): "Travel in the land [21], then observe what the end was of those who were deniers" [22].

6. Have they not observed [11] how many generations We have destroyed before them? We had established them on the earth with that which We did not establish for you [12], and We sent the sky upon them with abundant rain and made rivers flow beneath them [13]. Then We destroyed them for their sins and raised up another generation after them [14].

9.And have they not travelled in the land to see what was the end [15] of those before them? They were more powerful [16] than these. They tilled the soil and built (17) on it in greater abundance than these have built. And their Messengers brought to them bright signs (18). Then it was not befitting to the Dignity of Allah to oppress (19) them, but it is they who used to oppress themselves.

46. Have they not traveled in the land [102] that they should have hearts with which to understand or ears with which to hear? [103] Certainly it is not the eyes that become blind but the hearts (104) which are in the breasts.
