97. The desert-dwelling Arabs are more intense [267] in disbelief and hypocrisy, and more deserving to remain ignorant [268] of the limits of what Allah has revealed to His Messenger. And Allah is All-Knowing, Wise.

98. And among the desert Arabs [269] are those who regard what they spend in Allahs way as a fine [270] and wait for misfortunes [271] to befall you. Upon them shall be the evil turn. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
