19. O you who believe! It is not lawful for you to inherit women forcibly [71]. Do not detain them wrongfully with the intention that what you have given [72] them as dower unless they commit flagrant indecency (73) (adultery). Treat them with kindness. Then if you dislike them, it is likely that you dislike something wherein Allah has placed much good [74].

And if you are ill [159] or on a journey [160] or if any of you comes from the restroom (after relieving himself), or if you have touched women [161] and do not find water, then seek out clean earth and wipe [162] over your faces and hands [163]. Indeed, Allah is Ever-Pardoning, Most Forgiving [164].

47. O believers of the Book! Believe in what We (Allah) have revealed, confirming the Book [175] with you before We obliterate some faces [176] and turn them on their backs [177] or curse them as We cursed the people of the Sabbath [178]. And surely Allah's Command is to be carried out.

59. O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger, and those who have the power of command [204] among you. And if there may arise any difference among [205] you, refer it to Allah and His Messenger [206] if you have faith in Allah and the Last Day [207]. This is better and its end result is best [208].

When you go forth in the cause of Allah, make proper investigations and do not say to those who offer you peace, "You are not a believer" [302], seeking the goods of worldly life. For with Allah are abundant spoils. You were like that before [303], but Allah bestowed His special bounty upon you, so investigate properly [304]. Surely, Allah is fully aware of what you do.

135. O you who believe! Stand firmly [401] for justice, giving witness for Allah even though it may be against your own selves, or of your parents or your relations. And whether it (witness) is against the rich or the poor. Allah is more worthy of both of them [402]. Therefore, do not follow the passions lest you may be far away from justice. And if you distort [403] or turn your face, then Allah is aware of your doings.

136. O you who believe! Keep faith in Allah and His Messenger [404] and the Book, which He has revealed to His Messenger [405] and the Book which has been revealed before [406]. And who denies Allah and His angels, and His Books and His Messengers and the last Day [407], then he has certainly gone far astray [408].
