75. And what is the matter with you that you fight not in the way of Allah[239] and for the oppressed among men, women, and children[240], who say: "O our Lord! Take us out of this town[241] whose people are unjust[242], and appoint for us from Yourself a protector and appoint for us from Yourself a helper[243]?"

And concerning the oppressed children, He has instructed you that you maintain justice [382] towards the orphans. And whatever good you do, Allah is aware of your doings [383].

Then We seized each of them on account of his sin [98], then as to some of them We sent the storm of stoning, and as to some of them, a roaring blast overtook them and as to some of them We buried in the earth and as to some of them, We drowned [99]. And it was not befitting to the Dignity of Allah that He would have oppressed them; indeed, they themselves oppressed their souls [100].

129. They said: "We were oppressed before you came to us, and since you have come to us [269]." He said: "It is likely that your Lord will destroy your enemy and make you successors in the land, then He will see how you act [270]."

33. What are they waiting for [69] except that the angels should come to them, or the command of your Lord should come? Thus did those before them [70]. And Allah did not wrong them, but they wronged their own souls [71].

41. And those who emigrated for the sake of Allah after they had been oppressed [87], We will certainly grant them a good place in this world [88]. And the reward of the Hereafter is far greater [89], if only they knew.

39. Permission is given to them with whom the infidels fight because they were oppressed [89]. And no doubt, Allah is necessarily Powerful to help them.
