178.0 you who believe! Prescribed upon you is legal retribution (387) for those murdered the free for the free, the slave for the slave and the female for the female (388). But, whoever is pardoned by his brother (389), then let there be a suitable payment to him (heir of the deceased) with good conduct. This is indeed a concession from your Lord and a Mercy (390). He who transgresses (391) thereafter, then for him is a painful torment.

194. The sacred month is in exchange for the sacred month(442), and for all violations is legal retribution. So, whoever has violated you, then violate (443)him in the same way that he has violated you and fear Allah and know that Allah is with the God-fearing (444).
